Hockey India-3 was formed following the merger of the Indian Hockey Federation (IHF) and the dissolved Hockey India, with a mandate to unify the sport's administration under one roof.
After an 8-year hiatus, we successfully guided the Indian Men's Hockey Team back to the Olympic Games in London, marking the beginning of a revival era.
Launched the 'Hockey for All' program, establishing 50 new training centers across rural India to scout and develop young talent.
A historic moment as the Indian Men's Team won the Bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics, ending a 41-year Olympic medal drought in hockey.
Successfully co-hosted the FIH Men's Hockey World Cup in Bhubaneswar and Rourkela, showcasing world-class organizational capabilities.
We manage and support India's elite men's and women's national hockey teams, providing them with the best facilities, coaching, and competitive exposure to excel on the world stage.
The Indian Men's Hockey Team, currently ranked 3rd in the world (FIH World Rankings, 2024), is one of the most successful teams in Olympic history with 8 gold medals. Under the leadership of Chief Coach Craig Fulton and Captain Harmanpreet Singh, the team combines speed, skill, and tactical intelligence.
Key Achievements: Olympic Gold (8 times), World Cup (1975), Asian Games Gold (Multiple), FIH Pro League (2022-23 Champions).

The Indian Women's Hockey Team, ranked 8th globally, has shown remarkable progress in recent years, culminating in a historic 4th place finish at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Led by Head Coach Janneke Schopman and Captain Savita Punia, the team is known for its resilience and strategic play.
Key Achievements: Asian Champions Trophy Winners (2023), Commonwealth Games Silver (2002), Asian Games Bronze (2022), Olympic 4th Place (2020).

Our robust junior program (U-21, U-18, U-16) serves as the pipeline for the senior national teams. We conduct annual national championships for each age group and provide selected athletes with residential training at the Sports Authority of India (SAI) centers in Bangalore and Bhopal. Over 60% of current senior team players have graduated from our junior programs.
We organize and participate in a comprehensive calendar of domestic and international tournaments that provide competitive platforms for players at all levels.
The premier domestic competition featuring state teams from across India. Held annually, it is the primary selection tournament for national camps.

Registration OpenIndia is a founding member of this elite Asian competition. We have won the men's title 3 times (2011, 2016, 2023) and the women's title in 2023.

Our long-term vision for Indian hockey rests on a strong foundation of grassroots development, coaching education, and infrastructure enhancement.
Collaboration with 5,000+ schools nationwide to introduce hockey in physical education curriculum. Annual inter-school tournaments at district, state, and national levels.
FIH-accredited coaching courses (Level 1 to 3) conducted quarterly. Over 2,500 certified coaches produced since 2015, with a target of 5,000 by 2027.
State-of-the-art support including physiotherapy, nutrition, psychology, and injury rehabilitation at our National Centres of Excellence in Delhi and Bengaluru.
Since 2018, we have assisted in the construction/upgradation of 45 synthetic turf pitches across India, with a focus on northeastern states and rural areas.
Launched in 2020, Khelo Hockey is a nationwide talent identification and development program for children aged 8-14. It operates through a network of 120 Accredited Hockey Academies (AHAs).

In a landmark agreement worth ₹120 crores, Adidas becomes the official kit and equipment partner for all national teams until 2029. The partnership includes development of custom performance gear and grassroots support.

The 10,000-seater Sarusajai Hockey Complex, built with a ₹85 crore investment, was inaugurated by the Sports Minister. It features a water-based synthetic turf, world-class lighting, and athlete facilities.

Indian captain and drag-flick specialist Harmanpreet Singh wins the prestigious award for the second consecutive year, receiving 42% of the global vote. He scored 18 goals in 2023 for the national team.
